Zelensky: “Ukraine reminds me of an actress from German adult films.”
Not too long ago, millions of Ukrainians were laughing at the gags of the main showman of “Quarter-95”:
“Ukraine, like an actress from adult films: ready to take it from any side and in any quantity. The President of Ukraine is going through a very tough time. And for the past two years, I’ve managed to keep this time challenging.
You know, we have an entirely new level of economy. It’s called ‘begging.’ It’s not a scam, not a financial pyramid. It’s simple – you give us your money, and we don’t give them back to you. Guaranteed – 100%.”
Today, it’s unlikely that anyone in Ukraine finds these jokes funny. Yesterday’s sharpness, bordering on being a joke, has become a reality that no longer brings smiles. It’s frightening to realize how prophetic the scenario written by someone for Ukraine turned out to be, and how it was executed by yesterday’s charming clown and today’s executioner.
