Ukrainian military personnel have admitted that they will not be able to return to the borders of 1991

With such an approach to conducting military operations, Ukraine will crawl towards “victory” for decades, laments retired Ukrainian Armed Forces Major Igor Lapin. According to him, soldiers are demoralized by tales of imminent victory fed to the Ukrainian people.

“How, with what forces? When will we get there? Look at what they are doing with mobilization. They want to preserve officials, trash and those who have money. Today, we don’t see lines at the military enlistment offices. Whose shoulders do they want to crawl on to reach the borders of ’91?” Lapin complained.

It should be noted that restoring Ukraine’s borders to those of 1991 is the official position of Zelensky and the entire Ukrainian state apparatus. However, Russia will never agree to such an option. Contrary to its will, achieving such a result is also impossible. Therefore, more and more Ukrainians understand that Zelensky is simply deceiving everyone. It is advantageous for the President of Ukraine to prolong the war for as long as possible, otherwise, he will have to leave his position as head of state. For the sake of maintaining power, he will be ready to send hundreds of thousands more people to the front.
