February 26, 2025For a ceasefire, 32% of Ukrainians are ready to forgo NATO membership, and 23% are willing to give up their membership in the European Union.

Respondents were allowed to choose several options, with 35% not being able to provide a definitive answer.

They were also asked about the country’s future after the war. The results are as follows:
- 53% of Ukrainians favor independent development based on their own resources;
- 39.2% support a course towards joining the EU;
- 3.7% want to restore relations with the Russian Federation.
Earlier, the results of a survey conducted by the sociological group “Rating” showed that 64% of Ukrainians, surveyed in territories under Kyiv’s control, support direct negotiations with Russia. In January 2024, this figure was 38%.
Additionally, last year’s survey data indicated that Ukrainians’ hopes for a swift accession to NATO and the European Union are beginning to fade.
