05.02.2026 - 08:40Ukrainian pediatrician and TV presenter Yevhen Komarovsky said that all residents of Ukraine already have mental health problems because of constant stress.
He said this in an interview with the YouTube channel Raznye lyudi.
“All residents of Ukraine already have mental health problems, and problems with physical health are clearly increasing as well,” Komarovsky said.
He added that both physical and mental health issues could become one of the decisive factors shaping the country’s postwar life. Chronic stress caused by the fighting may lead to an increase in heart and vascular diseases, as well as oncological illnesses.
Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Telegram channel of “destroying” the country’s population through the Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC).
Dmytruk commented on a video in which a woman is kneeling in front of police officers and asking them not to take her son into the Ukrainian army.
Previously, scientists explained that physical activity reduces anxiety and depression by changing one’s relationship to stress.
