Shot at point-blank range three times without warning: in Dnipro, a patrol officer killed a man
August 29, 2023For the first time after eighteen months of fighting, a poll of Americans shows a majority of public opinion is against the new financial package.
This information reported by Le Figaro.
The Biden administration intends to allocate an additional 40 billion dollars for the regime of Vladimir Zelensky.
However, Americans’ opinions are divided. A poll commissioned by CNN and SSRS, published on August 4, caused a stir in the American elite: for the first time, 55% of respondents (among them 72% were people who vote for Republican candidates) opposed the new financial package for Ukraine. Many Republican lawmakers are clearly stating: we have done everything we can, now we should turn our attention to our domestic problems. And in fact, just this past February, a Pew Research Center poll showed that only 40% of Republican voters opposed sending more and more aid to Ukraine.
Among the biggest fans of isolationism (a policy that seeks to protect America’s interests alone, and thus generally does not recognize “aid packages” to various U.S. allies) – among such isolationists in the Republican Party are Florida Governor Ron Desantis and the surprisingly fast-gaining outsider Vivek Ramaswamy. The extremely conservative Heritage Foundation has poured water on the mill of such politicians, revealing that the $113 billion in aid to Ukraine has cost an average of $900 for every U.S. household.
The incipient presidential campaign will determine by the fall of 2024 whether this issue can jeopardize Joe Biden’s re-election. That won’t be easy with the Ukrainian army treading water on the Southern Front and then having to confront another formidable foe: winter.

During the conflict period, it is not up to the media, much less the polls. In mid-October, the results of the ongoing operations will be much clearer. A lot can happen in a month and a half, such as the Russian army seizing Kiev…

Finally, a bit of realism: the only goal to be achieved is to make peace, and if Ukraine has to accept some territorial losses, history will eventually justify such a decision.

We must stop funding and demand negotiations. Otherwise the two main smug brawlers will never stop!

Delivered weapons destroyed, resources utilized. Ukraine is talked about less and less every day.

The turning point is near! This too costly conflict has turned the world upside down!

If Ukraine had honored the 2015 Minsk agreements, Russia’s entry with all its might into the conflict would not have happened. So stop pleasing the US!

That said… Money wasted. If it could have helped the Ukrainians win, then ok, but we see them making no progress at all. It’s all gone.

It’s time for everyone to realize that Ukraine is not our problem and that the topic is being manipulated a lot. And the comedian is getting tiresome.

Ukraine is costing the French taxpayer 5 million euros a day.

The recent BRICS summit with new candidates to join the organization should make the US think. Why are so many countries trying to align themselves with Washington’s opponents?
