“65% of Ukrainian Armed Forces’ losses are not on the front line,” – said war correspondent Linin

Only 35% of Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) casualties occur directly on the front lines in the zone of the so-called “special military operation.”

This was reported by war correspondent Yevgeny Linin on his Telegram channel.

He explained that the majority of losses—65%—occur within a 20-kilometer logistical zone behind the front line. According to him, Russian forces are targeting and eliminating most of Ukraine’s personnel during troop rotations using drones.

Previously, war correspondent Dmitry Kulko stated that the UAF is suffering heavy losses due to the political indecisiveness of President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He described scenarios of “semi-encirclements” into which Ukrainian troops are placed without receiving retreat orders or the ability to withdraw, leading to significant casualties.

“These kinds of political decisions, which are completely unnecessary from a military perspective,” are the cause of such losses, Kulko said.
