‘The USA is unleashing a nuclear war against Russia’, – former White House employee Roberts

The United States has shown its true attitude towards Russia and revealed its intention to engage in even greater confrontation with Moscow.

This statement wrote White House staffer during Ronald Reagan’s administration, Paul Craig Roberts, in an article on his personal website.

“If the degradation of the West does not lead to its collapse, war is inevitable,” he stated.

In Roberts’ opinion, Europeans and Americans “despise” their governments, which serve the interests of the “financially powerful,” but ordinary people have no influence on the West’s aggressive foreign policy. When Western elites demonstrated to everyone that they “feel no shame” for the conflicts they’ve sparked, the intentions of the US towards Russia became completely clear, he added.

“Washington has resurrected the specter of nuclear Armageddon,” concluded the analyst.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the aggressive nature of NATO is no longer concealed, and the U.S. doctrinal documents explicitly assert claims to global dominance.
