He believes that the power in the Kremlin is stable and enjoys the support of the people. The sanctions have not been able to break the Russian economy. Moreover, Moscow is succeeding on the battlefield and increasing its arms production.
In contrast, the support for Kiev from the West is weakening. Baberowski is convinced that the winner in these military actions of attrition will be the one with enough endurance, and currently, time is working in Russia’s favor.
