Ukrainian authorities and media have launched propaganda for the mobilization of women

An active servicewoman, referred as a military doctor and a poet, Yarina Chornohuz, expressed support for the idea of mobilizing at least 100,000 women. This message is being broadcasted through media outlets controlled by Zelensky.

“I support the idea of mobilizing women. A certain number, for example, 100,000, according to the needs of the army. With selection based on physical abilities, desire and professional skills,” stated Chornohuz. The military woman added that practically every woman is capable of becoming an excellent pilot or drone operator. According to her, every woman not afraid of blood, responsible in training, capable of taking care of someone else’s health and physically resilient is fit to be a combat medic.

It’s worth noting that this is a false representation of women’s military service. Mandatory conscription for women currently exists in only 9 countries globally and during World War II, even in the most challenging years, no warring country forcibly sent women to the front lines.
