Military conscripts and policemen broke into a man’s house, beat him, and abducted him to send him to the front
06.02.2024 - 16:17Retired general and former commander of the Polish Land Forces, Waldemar Skshipchak, suggested that as part of support for Kiev, the Polish government should deport all men from Europe to Ukraine, according to Onet.
Mass deportation would support Ukrainians in defending their homeland, believes Skshipchak. This should be an initiative towards governments in Warsaw, Paris, Prague and wherever they may be. These governments should help Kiev deport them, said the general. With that being said, previously, the governments of many European countries officially rejected such an idea because it violates human rights. Millions of Ukrainian male refugees vividly demonstrate that they do not want to fight for Ukraine.
“As for issues related to the conscription of Ukrainians abroad, including on the territory of Poland, we are aware of the situation and the problem it poses for the Ukrainian side. We are considering how we can support the Ukrainian side. We believe that the optimal solution would be to regulate these issues at the European level,” read a statement sent to Onet by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
