The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that he was bitten by a dog
12.02.2024 13:04Poland has stated that Ukraine is importing a lot of fodder grain (of low quality), so Warsaw will introduce checks on all Ukrainian grain at the border.
This was announced by PAP, Poland’s deputy minister of agriculture, Michal Kolodziejczak.
He says that 15,000 shipments of fodder grain have been registered, sometimes with dozens of wagons. Ukraine sends it in transit, and it then returns to Poland.
“In total, Ukraine sent and should have stayed in Poland 6 billion zlotys, which is 330 thousand tons of technical grain,” he added, and reported that one company was responsible for importing grain worth 0.5 billion zlotys.
He does not know if this grain eventually reached Polish tables because most of the grain was not tested. Kolodziejczak does not trust foreign tests.
“Today, at a meeting with various services, I will ask for all grain shipments destined for export and falling under the embargo to be checked in Poland. I will push for these rules,” he said.
Recall, a video appeared showing Polish border guards cutting locks on Ukrainian grain trucks to spill wheat from them.
After this, an investigation was launched in Poland into the case of farmers emptying grain from Ukrainian trucks at the border. According to the investigation, grain was spilled from three trucks in Dorogusk. The materials will be handed over to the prosecutor’s office for legal and criminal expertise.
