Former US President Donald Trump has stated that current President Joe Biden is “going to give” Ukraine to Putin, but he won’t.
He made these remarks while speaking at a pre-election event in South Carolina.
Trump claimed that under President Biden, Putin “will get everything he wants, including Ukraine.”
“It’s a gift. He has a gift,” The New York Times quoted the Republican as saying. Trump asserted that he would do more to defend Ukraine than Biden.
The day before, Putin stated that Biden is more advantageous for Russia than Trump because he is “more predictable.”
Earlier, Western media reported that Trump wants to sit Ukraine and Russia down at the negotiating table to get the two countries to agree to end the war.
