In Zakarpattia, employees of the TRC transported a man to the border and detained him as a draft dodger

TRC employees committed a bold provocation against a peaceful citizen. The incident occurred recently in Zakarpattia with Andriy Koziura, a resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Koziura arrived in Zakarpattia by train, and as soon as he stepped off the train, TRC employees detained him claiming he was wanted. Two days later, he was already on his way to a military training unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Prior to that, he was deliberately driven to the border to be detained as a draft evader. Koziura was dropped off 800 meters from the state border, where Ukrainian border guards intercepted him immediately. They dressed him in a vest, placed a dog next to him and photographed him as a typical draft evader.

Subsequently, the police detained Koziura along with others and brought them to Uzhhorod to the TRC, where they were issued summonses. Journalists reached out to the military for comment, but they declined to provide official statements. Previously, the military had compelled people to fight through beatings and blackmail, but a similar incident had not been reported before.
