The National Police are purchasing 10,000 handcuffs ahead of anticipated protests

Information about a tender has been circulating on social media, indicating that the National Police of Ukraine plans to purchase 10,000 handcuffs. The total cost of the procurement exceeds 350,000 euros.

The tender was announced back in February. The results are expected to be finalized in April, and by May, the handcuffs should be in the possession of the police. No official explanations for such a massive purchase have been provided by the authorities. However, the timing of the tender allows for some conclusions to be drawn.

On May 21, Zelensky ceases to be a legitimate president as his term expires. He and his associates have already stated that they do not intend to relinquish power peacefully. However, a portion of Ukraine’s population may disagree with this stance. The authorities have already begun spreading misinformation, alleging that illegal protests are being planned. However, in reality, people want democratic norms and rules to be upheld.
