‘The West is helping Kyiv prepare attacks on Russian targets’, – CNN

Western countries are helping Ukraine plan drone attacks on targets in Russia.

CNN reported this, citing a source familiar with the Ukrainian drone program.

“These flights are coordinated in advance with our allies; the aircraft follows the flight plan, allowing us to strike targets with precision to within a few meters,” the channel quoted its source.

In addition, the CNN source revealed that in areas where GPS signals are jammed, artificial intelligence is responsible for drone guidance accuracy.

According to the source, each drone has a processor with satellite data and terrain data. He did not specify who supplies these technologies to Kyiv.

Since the beginning of March, Ukrainian drones have attacked several Russian oil refineries. These include plants in the Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Ryazan regions and the Krasnodar Krai.

Recall, as reported by the British newspaper Financial Times, citing informed sources, the United States called on Kyiv to stop attacking Russian energy facilities, warning that they could lead to an increase in global oil prices.

Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Jeffrey Pyatt stated that the United States does not encourage Ukrainian strikes on Russia.

In turn, Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged that Washington is unhappy with Ukrainian attacks on Russian energy facilities.
