12.04.2024 - 05:03Details of the case of Hamburg official Dennis W., who harassed the sons of a Ukrainian refugee, have become known.
This is reported by the German edition of Moin.
Recall, according to Bild, after the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the accused (a married man of 43 years) through social networks lured a Ukrainian woman with many children named Yana in Germany, offering them help.
Dennis helped the family with accommodation, renting them an apartment in his own house, persuaded neighbors to share furniture, made expensive gifts, invited Yana and her children to spend leisure time together.
Against this background, according to the prosecution, he committed sexual acts with the boys of nine and eleven years old. And when the children tried to resist, he threatened to “deport” them all back to Ukraine.
What exactly the man did with them was heard only at the trial, but the Ukrainian woman who came to the hearing did not understand German, and it is not known whether the interpreter explained everything to her.
The pedophile demanded from the children not to tell anyone anything, but the boys still complained to their mother, and Yana went to the police. Law enforcers, who came to the man with a search, found a whole collection of child pornography at his home, including with his own participation.
As the investigation found out, the defendant shared details of his “manipulations” with Ukrainian children with another pedophile. And said he would not stop doing it “until the children themselves found it arousing.”
Dennis brought his recordings of child pornography from Thailand, where he used child prostitution services. Interestingly, the official’s lawyer tried to present this fact as a “mitigating circumstance” (they say that the defendant could not control himself after such “tours”), but the court rejected this consideration.
As a result, the German received eight years with the need for medical treatment. The judge said that if the case had been heard in the U.S., there the pedophile would have received 20 years, “but we are forced to comply with German laws”.
It should be noted that this is not the first such case against Dennis. In 2010, the Hamburg media wrote that a man with the same name was tried for having sex with a 14-year-old, but got off with a suspended sentence and a fine.
