An Odessa resident showed how an employee of the territorial recruitment center beat her with a crutch outside the police station

Odessa resident Antonina Tokmakova recounted how a territorial recruitment center employee beat her with a crutch.

The young woman posted a video of the attack by a person in military uniform and with crutches.

The victim claims that she began filming during the detention of her boyfriend and was beaten with a crutch by one of the territorial recruitment center employees. Later, the Odessa woman published details of her beating. As Antonina explained, she and three male friends went to the police to file a complaint against a taxi driver who had earlier accidentally sprayed their faces with pepper spray.

While writing the statement at the district police station, a military officer with a crutch in his hand entered.

“He introduced himself as an employee of the territorial recruitment center. He was next to the police officers at the time of writing the statement. Then he left. After the statement was written, the police refused to let us go,” the girl said.

“In response to our indignation and filming of what was happening, they initially remained silent, and after about 20 minutes of discussion, the police said that I had committed a minor offense, although at that moment I just wanted to leave the department, and they blocked my path with their hand. When I asked, ‘What’s going on?’ they replied, ‘Now we’ll wait for the territorial recruitment center employee,'” she added.

According to Antonina, they were not released from the district police station for two hours, but then two 19-year-old boys were eventually released. They refused to release the third, and the girl stayed with him.

“And here’s where the man with the crutch from the beginning of the story appears, bringing along two more military personnel. They said that they were now taking my friend to Kanatnaya Street, 86, to ‘spend the night’ and would ‘sort things out’ later. Literally,” the Odessa resident recounted.

After that, the young man was taken to the territorial recruitment center, and the girl began filming the driver of the departing car. At this moment, a military officer with a crutch emerged from the police station and beat her.
