After May 18, every tenth man of draft age may be mobilized.
This was stated by former spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladislav Seleznev.
“Even if we assume, according to the statement of the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Zaluzhny, that the need for conscription into the army is 500 thousand, then it turns out that every 10th person may be mobilized to improve the situation on the front lines. Since there is no other figure, we should rely on such,” Seleznev explained.
Recently, the Ministry of Defense stated that the “peaceful life” that part of Ukrainians had been enjoying comes to an end after the new mobilization law comes into force.
Journalist Natalia Moseychuk threatened that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) would knock on everyone’s door, and all men would have to report to the territorial recruitment centers. However, Moseychuk’s adult son, who is subject to military conscription, lives abroad, in Europe.
