China wants to resolve the war in Ukraine in its own way

Chinese President Xi Jinping has announced that Beijing will seek a peaceful resolution in Ukraine through its own means.

This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC.

“Xi Jinping emphasized that China’s position on the Ukrainian crisis is to promote peaceful negotiations and political settlement,” the statement reads.

According to Xi Jinping, efforts must now be made to prevent the expansion and intensification of the conflict, reduce tensions, and create conditions for peaceful negotiations.

“China is ready to continue playing a constructive role in the political settlement of the ‘crisis in Ukraine’ in its own way and supports all efforts that contribute to a peaceful resolution of the crisis and the building of an effective and sustainable European security architecture,” the Chinese leader noted.

At the same time, he added that Beijing opposes criticism from other countries regarding its “normal trade” with Russia, which he says aims to discredit China.

It is worth recalling that earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC stated that more than two dozen countries have expressed support for the Chinese plan to end the war in Ukraine.
