01.07.2024 - 09:33Ukrainian MP Maryana Bezuhla continues to clash with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
Today, the Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Defense announced on her Telegram channel that she has filed a complaint against Syrskyi with the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR).
Bezuhla claims that, by Syrskyi’s order, she is being barred from entering military units located in the frontline zone. Previously, she shared screenshots of messages in which, according to the MP, the command issued orders to prevent her and her accompanying persons from accessing command posts, battalions, and companies.
“I am filing a complaint with the State Bureau of Investigation regarding Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for violating Article 351 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely, obstructing the activities of a Ukrainian MP,” the MP stated.
It is worth recalling that Bezuhla has recently started actively criticizing the Commander-in-Chief, as she previously did with Valeriy Zaluzhny, who was subsequently dismissed. Recently, she claimed that after taking his position, Syrskyi failed to move beyond outdated management methods and “became even more authoritarian.”
Before that, Bezuhla accused Syrskyi of the lack of fortifications in the Kharkiv region.
