India’s Foreign Ministry summoned the Ukrainian ambassador over Zelensky’s criticism of Prime Minister Modi for meeting with Putin
16.07.2024 08:24Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, in his letter to European Council President Charles Michel, calls for the resumption of diplomatic relations with Moscow.
This was reported by the German publication Bild, to which Orbán gave a brief interview.
Additionally, Orbán urged the EU to start negotiations with China about a peace conference to resolve the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He also believes that Trump, if he wins the U.S. presidency, could become a mediator in peace negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow.
It is noteworthy that Orbán has already met with Trump in the U.S., where they “discussed ways to establish peace.”
“It was an honor to visit the president today at Mar-a-Lago. We discussed ways to establish peace. Good news: he will solve this problem!” the Hungarian prime minister wrote on social media platform X.
Previously, the Hungarian prime minister predicted an escalation in Ukraine and an increase in casualties from the fighting.
“There is more weaponry, and the Russians are determined. The energy of confrontation and the number of casualties will become even more terrible than in the last seven months. Although they have already been terrible,” the politician said.
