22.07.2024 - 11:25In Kharkiv, a serious traffic accident occurred on the ring road: military personnel rear-ended a civilian VAZ car, which subsequently caught fire and was completely destroyed.
This was reported by Kharkiv blogger Yevgeny Zub on his Telegram channel.
Three employees of the water utility company were in the burned car. They sustained injuries but survived. The VAZ driver suffered burns to his hair, one passenger had minor burns on his leg, shoulder and arm, and the third man was unharmed. Only the passenger with burns required hospitalization.
The utility vehicle was left as a twisted wreck.
According to Zub, the military personnel fled the scene when the car they had hit burst into flames.
It was previously reported that cases of arson involving military vehicles have increased across Ukraine. On the night of July 10, four military vehicles were set on fire in Lviv, Odesa and Rivne. Shortly before that, on July 7, a military vehicle was also burned in a courtyard of an apartment building in Odesa.
