In Ukraine, military commissars will record their actions with body cameras
30.09.2024 - 15:58In the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv, men in military uniforms assaulted and forced a man walking down the street into a van.
The victim, named Yegor, stated that they took his phone and prevented him from contacting his relatives. Earlier this summer, Yegor suffered injuries when a KAB (guided bomb) hit his home, resulting in the death of his father and the complete destruction of the residence. He is currently undergoing treatment for severe injuries, including a traumatic brain injury.
The victim’s relatives are trying to draw public attention to the situation.
It’s worth recalling that in Chernivtsi, a military commissar assaulted an elderly man who had come to the territorial recruitment center looking for his son, with whom he had lost contact. The father’s phone was also confiscated during the altercation. Residents gathered at the gates of the recruitment center called the police, but law enforcement did not respond.
Earlier, in Zakarpattia, a 53-year-old man died after spending three days at the military enlistment office.
His wife reported that her husband left for the military commissariat in good health, but three days later, she saw him at the territorial recruitment center covered in bruises. A day later, Olha was informed that her husband, Serhiy, was in the hospital in critical condition.
Doctors revealed that the man had been brought in a comatose state and diagnosed with an intracranial hemorrhage. He passed away shortly thereafter.
