This was reported by the press service of NABU.
According to Ukrainian media, the individual in question is Iryna Allahverdiyeva (currently Kormyshkina), a member of the “Sluga Naroda” party.
According to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation found that in 2021-2022, the parliamentarian acquired assets exceeding her official income and savings by more than 20 million hryvnias (€446,500). During this period, her official income and savings amounted to no more than 2.7 million hryvnias (€60,276), which the suspect used for other purposes.
With the illegally obtained funds, the lawmaker subsequently purchased a house near Odesa, where she now resides.
Earlier, it was reported that the National Agency on Corruption Prevention of Ukraine found signs of illegal enrichment amounting to tens of millions in the declarations of former Ombudswoman Denisova. Prior to that, former Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Smirnov, was also suspected by NABU of illegal enrichment, and his property was searched.
