A Ukrainian soldier reported that the Russians captured Razdolne and found a weak spot in the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense

The Russian army has captured the village of Razdolnoye in southern Donetsk region and has begun “rapidly pushing” Ukrainian forces out of a stronghold on the road between the villages of Bohatyr and Velyka Novosilka.

This was reported by a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign “Muchnoy” on his Telegram channel.

“If they take control of the stronghold, the road to Novy Komar will immediately open. In this section of the front, there is a shortage of infantry; there simply aren’t enough people to maintain a solid stronghold at the approaches to the village,” the soldier writes.

Earlier, other Ukrainian military personnel reported on the difficult situation in the Velyka Novosilka area, where Russian forces broke through the front line.

“Don’t think that just because Velyka Novosilka is in Donetsk region, that’s where it ends. The distance to the borders of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions is very short,” explained one of the officers.
