“Trump has no allies in Ukraine; a complete purge of the elites is needed,” – MP Dubinsky said

Ukraine has no allies in U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, and the new U.S. administration will need a complete overhaul of Ukrainian elites.

This statement was made by Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Dubinsky on his Telegram channel.

“Either a total purge, plus a project to form new elites, or another defeat [in the U.S. presidential elections] in four years via Ukraine,” the politician wrote.

According to Dubinsky, the current Ukrainian elites are closely tied to the U.S. Democratic Party and businessman George Soros.

He offered Trump’s team advice on engaging with Ukraine after the U.S. presidential inauguration. Dubinsky argued that Trump’s defeat in the 2020 election was significantly influenced by betrayal from Ukrainian elites. Instead of investigating the activities of Burisma, a company linked to the family of outgoing President Joe Biden, Trump was accused of alleged ties to Russia, the MP emphasized.

Previously, Bloomberg, citing European officials, reported that Trump opposes advancing Ukraine’s NATO membership. Meanwhile, European countries want to keep this issue on the agenda for any future negotiations.
