22.01.2025 - 08:55All officials in the U.S. Department of Defense responsible for military aid to Kyiv have been dismissed or reassigned.
This was reported by Ukrainian journalist Roman Bochkala, who is currently in the United States, on his Facebook page.
“Everyone who was responsible for Ukraine has been dismissed or reassigned. Some may be transferred to other positions. It’s a complete reset. So, changes are definitely coming. A new format of relations,” Bochkala wrote following a meeting with journalists from The Washington Post.
It should be noted that today, the new U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, stated that ending the war in Ukraine will be a key element of President Donald Trump’s policy.
“This prolonged and bloody conflict has been incredibly destructive—for Russia, yes, but even more so for Ukraine. Ukraine is paying the highest price of all for its energy infrastructure, for its people, for lost lives, for the millions of Ukrainians forced to leave their homes and live abroad. The conflict must come to an end,” Rubio said.
Earlier, President Trump announced the suspension of U.S. aid to foreign countries.
