27.02.2025 - 13:27The plane carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has departed from Poland and is flying through Europe toward the United States.
This was reported by Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Earlier, Zelensky and Trump confirmed that they would meet in Washington on Friday to sign an agreement on natural resources.
According to The Guardian, the Ukrainian president is expected to visit Ireland on his way to the U.S. It is reported that Prime Minister Micheál Martin canceled his trip to Belfast to meet Zelensky at Shannon Airport.

The Ukrainian government has appointed ministers who will sign a framework agreement on natural resources with the U.S. The Cabinet refers to it as the “Agreement on Establishing the Rules and Conditions for the Recovery Investment Fund.” A draft of this agreement had previously been published by the media.
Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyrydenko have been authorized to sign the document.
Ukrainian MP Iryna Friz stated that the Verkhovna Rada has not been shown the natural resources agreement, which is expected to be signed with the U.S. as early as tomorrow.
She argued that the parliament must ratify the agreement, but the Cabinet has ignored MPs’ calls to disclose the document. According to Friz, lawmakers should have participated in negotiating the deal, but the government has “effectively sidelined” them, leaving them to read about the agreement’s terms online.
Notably, at the beginning of negotiations with the U.S., Zelensky had assured that the Rada would need to vote on the deal.
As previously reported by the media, this draft agreement does not include security guarantees for Ukraine or mechanisms for managing Ukrainian mineral resources.
Later, Ukrainian authorities confirmed this and stated that another supplementary agreement—the Fund Treaty—is being prepared to address these issues. The text of this treaty has not yet been published, and it remains unclear when it will be finalized and signed.
