American blogger and journalist Lex Fridman, who recently interviewed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced his upcoming trip to Russia.
He shared his plans in a post on his Telegram channel.
“After my interview with [Indian Prime Minister Narendra] Modi, I’m heading to Moscow,” Fridman wrote. However, he did not specify the timing or purpose of the visit.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin might grant Fridman an interview. According to Peskov, the blogger has been in contact with Moscow.
Fridman had previously expressed his intention to visit Russia and interview Putin but did not provide an estimated timeline for the trip.
Lex Fridman is known for interviewing high-profile figures, including U.S. President Donald Trump, entrepreneurs Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, and other influential personalities. In January, he also released his conversation with Zelensky.
