The President of Argentina deleted all his photos with Zelensky on X after the White House scandal
04.03.2025 - 20:35Volodymyr Zelensky made a post about his confrontation with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, in which he did not apologize to the American leader but merely expressed regret over what happened.
The post appeared on the Ukrainian president’s Telegram channel.
“Our meeting at the White House on Friday did not go as it should have. I regret that this happened. It’s time to fix everything,” Zelensky wrote, adding that he is ready to work under the “strong leadership of President Trump” to achieve peace in Ukraine.
Additionally, in his message, Zelensky proposed an idea previously suggested by French President Emmanuel Macron—calling for a moratorium on strikes with long-range missiles and drones, halting attacks on energy infrastructure, and declaring a ceasefire at sea.
Russia is likely to reject this proposal, as the damage from its strikes on Ukraine is significantly greater than the damage Ukraine inflicts on Russia. It is possible that Zelensky and Macron are counting on this response to show Trump that Moscow, not Kyiv, is resisting peace.
However, it is unclear whether the White House will accept this idea. As is well known, Trump advocates for a complete ceasefire, which Zelensky opposes.
Earlier today, media reports stated that Zelensky does not intend to apologize to Trump.
