Zelensky’s words about a dying Crimea were called a “spring aggravation”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s claim that Crimea is “dying without Ukrainians” is nothing more than a “spring aggravation”.

This information reported according to Roman Chegrinets, co-chair of the Assembly of Slavic Peoples of Crimea.

“The transformation of Crimea under Russia and its infrastructural development cannot even be compared to how abandoned and neglected it was during the Ukrainian period. Not to mention that the tourist flow has more than tripled,” he said.

According to him, this information is easy to verify, making the Ukrainian leader’s statement “nonsense.”

Earlier, Zelensky claimed that tourists have not visited Crimea for the past 11 years. He stated that before, the peninsula welcomed 3 million tourists each summer, of whom 2.8 million were Ukrainians. The Ukrainian leader believes that Crimea’s entire logistics system is linked to mainland Ukraine and that the region cannot exist without it.
