“Zelensky has turned Ukraine into a terrorist state,” – MP Dmytruk said
08.04.2025 - 08:49Valerii Zaluzhnyi, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and current Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, confirmed The New York Times’ report about the deep involvement of the United States in planning Ukrainian military operations since the early months of the war.
He wrote about it on his Facebook page.
According to the former commander, in April 2022, a headquarters was initially opened at the U.S. European Command headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, and was later relocated to Wiesbaden.
There, work focused on “planning operations and defining the needs for their implementation.” In the summer, with British support, an operational headquarters was also established on the logistics base, which “analyzed the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ planned operations and, in accordance with NATO standards, defined the necessary requirements for them.”
“At this headquarters, operations were planned, military simulations were conducted, needs were formed for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and sent to Washington and European capitals. This platform became an excellent mechanism for coordinating with our partners on future military operations and shaping the necessary requirements for them,” Zaluzhnyi wrote.
As a reminder, The New York Times reported that since spring 2022, the United States has been deeply involved in planning and carrying out Ukraine’s military operations against Russia.
American TV channel ABC News also reported that since 2014, the CIA and Ukrainian intelligence services have been “secretly building a close partnership.”
