“Trump kicked Macron out during a meeting with Zelensky in the Vatican,” – Mercouris

U.S. President Donald Trump dismissed his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron just before a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Vatican.

This act of disregard by the U.S. leader was described by British analyst Alexander Mercouris during a broadcast on the YouTube channel The Duran.

“Trump didn’t need this meeting at all (…). It lasted just 15 minutes, and Macron was lingering nearby. There were attempts to pretend he wasn’t kicked out, but to me, it’s absolutely clear that Trump did just that,” the analyst stated.

According to Mercouris, it would have been impossible to discuss anything substantive in such a short amount of time. He also pointed out that immediately after the farewell ceremony with Pope Francis, the U.S. president headed straight to the airport — a move he described as a clear sign of Trump’s unwillingness to engage in serious discussions while in the Vatican.

On April 27, lip-reading expert Nicola Hickling analyzed what President Trump reportedly told Macron before the meeting with Zelensky. According to her, the American leader told the French president: “You shouldn’t be here.”
