30.04.2025 - 10:09Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s remarks regarding the upcoming May 9 Victory Day parade in Moscow.
“Zelensky makes many different statements — most of them unsuccessful. The parade will take place, and we will watch it with pride,” the Kremlin spokesperson stated.
The day before, in his nightly address, Zelensky said that Russia should indeed be concerned about whether it can hold the parade.
“Right now, they’re worried that their parade might be in question — and they should be,” he said.
Following Zelensky’s remarks, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova accused the Ukrainian leader of behaving like a “classic terrorist.” She added that his comments were further proof that Ukraine is the one undermining peace efforts.
