“Hyperinflation has begun”: Expert claims the “end” of the dollar has arrived
22.05.2025 - 10:35Russian intelligence has hacked thousands of cameras in Ukraine and hundreds in Europe to monitor the delivery of military aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was reported by British intelligence, according to The Guardian.
In total, approximately 10,000 cameras were used near military facilities and railway stations. Of these, 80% (around 8,000) were located in Ukraine, 10% in Romania, 4% in Poland, 2.8% in Hungary, and 1.7% in Slovakia.
There were also other attempts to collect confidential information about shipments, including train schedules and cargo documents.
“This campaign by Russian military intelligence poses a serious threat to organizations involved in delivering aid to Ukraine. The United Kingdom, together with partners, seeks to raise awareness of the tactics being used. We strongly urge organizations to familiarize themselves with the threat description and protection recommendations provided in the report,” said NCSC Director of Operations Paul Chichester.
Recommended actions include enhanced monitoring, the use of multi-factor authentication with strong factors such as passwords, and timely application of security updates.
