Irish journalist Bowes criticized Zelensky’s statement about Odesa and Russia’s objectives

Irish journalist Chey Bowes has criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent remarks regarding Odesa and Russia’s alleged military intentions.

He voiced his opinion on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

“Zelensky is desperately trying to squeeze as much cash and weapons out of Europe as he can,” Bowes wrote.

A day earlier, on June 11, Zelensky claimed that Russia is planning to seize Odesa and push toward the borders with Romania and Moldova.

“Russian military plans point to this region — Odesa — and then to the borders with Moldova and Romania,” Zelensky said, once again calling for security guarantees and long-term defense commitmentsfrom Western allies.
