U.S. allies in the European Union (EU) fear that American leader Donald Trump may lose interest in Ukraine.

This was reported by The Financial Times, citing sources.

“In Europe, there are suspicions that Trump may lose interest in Ukraine and shift his focus to issues closer to his heart,” the publication writes, noting that in such a case, it would fall on Europeans to independently support Ukraine’s military efforts.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported, citing sources, that Trump has already agreed to provide Ukraine with some military assistance that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had requested.
