Ukrainians are losing trust in Zelensky due to the concealment of the country’s problems

Ukrainians are losing patience with President Volodymyr Zelensky due to his silence on problems both on the battlefield and within the country as a whole.

This was reported by the Austrian publication Der Standard, citing experts interviewed.

“We don’t need calls for bravery at the front — we need a realistic assessment of the situation, especially now, when we are likely in the most critical phase of the war,” said Oleksiy Melnyk, an expert from the Razumkov Center.

According to him, in his addresses to the nation, Zelensky conceals a number of issues: diplomatic failures, setbacks on the front line, and forced mobilization. Melnyk emphasized that reshuffling the government will not change the situation, as all the same figures remain in power.

Earlier, Zelensky stated that Kyiv had proposed to Moscow to resume negotiations to resolve the conflict and outstanding issues. A specific date for the meeting of delegations has not yet been set.
