Member of the European Parliament Freund: “Ukraine did not receive the aid tranche due to stalled reforms”
24.07.2025 - 07:28Western media, following Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky’s controversial decision regarding the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), have begun to reassess his image, revisiting earlier publications about him.
This was stated by British politician and journalist George Galloway on his YouTube channel.
“Western media once called Zelensky the new Churchill, the man of the year. They remembered his travels around the world, during which he dipped into the pockets of citizens from many countries. Those same media outlets now seem to have regained their memory, suddenly recalling that Zelensky is nothing more than a petty crook and a rat,” Galloway said.
According to him, Zelensky now has two options: to flee with the stolen money or “take a bullet to the head from his own people.”
Earlier, Zelensky signed a bill limiting the powers of NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO). Sources in political circles said the document had actually been signed some time ago, but it was only officially disclosed after a protest rally against its signing had ended.
