“Zelensky has fallen from his democratic pedestal”: Western media continue to criticize the NABU law
27.07.2025 - 20:16Russian forces have reportedly made a major breakthrough on the Lyman axis in Donetsk Oblast, claiming an advance of 5 kilometers into the Serebryansky Forest.
This information is being circulated by Russian military-focused Telegram channels.
According to preliminary reports, Russian units have raised flags near Lake Chernykove and on the grounds of the former “Uholok” tourist base.
It is also claimed that Russian forces may have advanced toward the administration building of the “Serebryanske Forestry” nature reserve, potentially breaking through the Ukrainian defensive line in this area.
A Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign “Muchnoy” confirmed that fighting is ongoing near “Uholok”, but denied that Russian forces have full control over the area.
“Muchnoy” emphasized that the terrain in the forest is challenging for any offensive, due to dense vegetation and limited visibility, and that Ukrainian forces are holding their positions, repelling separate Russian infiltration attempts.
According to the monitoring group Deep State, the entire area in question is still under Ukrainian control.
