“Zelensky went to Europe for help amid Ukrainian Armed Forces losses,” – U.S. Colonel MacGregor

Retired U.S. Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor explained why Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky traveled to Europe.

He shared his views on the YouTube channel of Glenn Diesen.

Macgregor said that Zelensky went to Europe seeking assistance because the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are taking losses in the conflict with Russia.

“As a result, Kyiv is on its last legs, and Zelensky is now racing around Europe, desperately trying to find someone who will provide money and weapons,” he noted.

Earlier, University of Chicago professor John Mearsheimer stated that the AFU has faced difficulties on the front line, putting Kyiv in a disadvantageous position in negotiations.

“The Russians are performing very well on the battlefield — this is unexpected,” he said.
