Bild journalists do not rule out a new quarrel between Zelensky and Trump in the White House

During today’s visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States, a new clash with White House chief Donald Trump cannot be ruled out.

This assumption was made by the German newspaper Bild.

“Although Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is accompanied to Washington by several European heads of state and government, the President of the European Commission, and the NATO Secretary General, an escalation with U.S. President Donald Trump cannot be excluded,” the article says.

Citing its own sources, the newspaper also reports that Trump will first meet with Zelensky without the European leaders — one-on-one. Only after the personal talks between the Ukrainian and American presidents will EU and NATO representatives be allowed to join them.

As part of the event, a joint working dinner in an expanded format is planned.

It should be recalled that after a public quarrel during Zelensky’s previous visit, Trump said that the Ukrainian leader “can come back when he is ready for peace.”
