This is stated in a report of the Ministry of Defense, the data from which was cited by Member of Parliament Oleksii Honcharenko on his Telegram channel.
According to the official report, after the resumption of issuing passports for men abroad in April 2024, all data from the State Migration Service (SMS) began to be automatically transferred to the Ministry of Defense for registration.
It should be recalled that until April 2024, passports were neither renewed nor issued abroad. But later the issuance of passports was resumed, and all SMS data began to be transferred to the Ministry of Defense for registration.
In the summer, deputies in the Verkhovna Rada proposed allowing Ukrainians who violated military registration rules to take jobs and obtain exemptions.
Earlier, the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRCs) stated that a man who failed to appear after receiving a summons and paid a fine for it must still report to the TRC and undergo a military medical commission.
