“I don’t understand why lie?” A military expert stated that the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Dobropillia is deteriorating
04.10.2025 - 10:04Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that Ukraine’s destiny is to live alongside Russia.
He made this statement on Kossuth Radio.
According to him, Hungarians do not want to be in the European Union together with Ukrainians.
“I deeply agree with this, because if you are in an alliance system with someone, you share their fate… We pity them, we sympathize, they are fighting heroically — let’s support them, but we do not want a shared fate with them. Their fate is to live next to Russia and to be constantly in conflict with Russians, and we cannot change that. And it is not help if we take upon ourselves all the things they are suffering from,” Orbán said.
At the same time, he believes that the EU should conclude a strategic agreement with Ukraine, similar to those already signed with the United Kingdom and Turkey.
Earlier, Orbán refused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s request to stop buying oil from Russia.
The Hungarian prime minister has also said that the European Union wants to start a war with Russia.
