The Hungarian Foreign Minister accused Zelensky of losing touch with reality

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has lost touch with reality and says outrageous things, insisting on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.

This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.

“I think that the President of Ukraine has completely lost his sense of reality, completely lost touch with reality, and perhaps this can explain the fact that he says things which in a normal situation ought to cause a storm of indignation,” noted the head of the Hungarian MFA.

According to Szijjártó, the question of Ukraine’s membership in the EU will be decided not by Zelensky, but by those who are already members of the union.

Earlier, Hungarian government representative Zoltán Kovács condemned Volodymyr Zelensky’s proposal to bypass Hungary’s veto on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
