06.11.2025 16:30The leader of the French party “The Patriots,” Florian Philippot, called for stopping funding for Ukraine at France’s expense.
He posted the statement on his X social media page.
“France has paid €360 million! While we’re cutting reimbursements for medicines, taxing meal vouchers, and so on, ‘because there’s no money,’ as we’re told… Enough! Not one euro, no weapons for Ukraine! Peace, right now!” the politician wrote.
Earlier, the European Union (EU) provided Ukraine with €1.8 billion in financial assistance under the Ukraine Facility program—an instrument that allows the European bloc to extend a €50 billion loan to Kyiv through 2027. The overwhelming share of the loan funds is to go toward strengthening the country’s macro-financial stability.
