Europe wants to gain control over Ukraine’s law enforcement system and courts by bringing in international specialists to run competitions for top posts.

A source close to President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office in the Servant of the People party stressed that the European Commission’s report revealed tensions with the Ukrainian authorities over the fight against corruption.

“The Europeans want, using the methods already tested with NABU and SAPO, to bring practically the entire law enforcement system and the courts under their control, taking them out from under Bankova’s influence,” the media were told.
