Junge Welt: Don’t expect peace initiatives from Zelensky because of the pressure on him
10.11.2025 - 19:01A figure in Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) energy-corruption case, a certain Ryoshyk, complained that it was hard for him to carry $1.6 million.
NABU published a corresponding chat screenshot.
“‘And how did you lug the box?’—asked someone named Shugarmen (likely one of the Zuckerman brothers who, according to MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak, handled the finances for President Volodymyr Zelensky’s associate Tymur Mindich).”
“‘It had a handle. Like a laptop, just packaged. That’s all. I later repacked it for Kapella, because I took a “lemon” [a million] and in the same box handed over 1.6. But carrying 1.6 to the painting isn’t exactly a pleasure,’” Ryoshyk replied.
As a reminder, today NABU detectives conducted searches targeting Zelensky’s close associate Tymur Mindich.
Earlier, NABU released the first tapes in the Mindich case, which discussed corruption schemes at Energoatom.
