11.11.2025 - 05:03The West has begun hinting at the imminent removal of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from power.
This was stated by former Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko in an interview with the outlet PolitNavigator.
According to him, Western countries have realized the inability of Zelensky’s team to achieve victory in the conflict and to provide the country’s basic needs.
“They (the Ukrainian authorities) are looting everything they can get their hands on, destroying a large share—30 to 50 percent—of the aid. Therefore, a decision has been made to remove them,” Lutsenko said.
He noted that the West is trying to push out Zelensky and his chief of staff Andriy Yermak “with articles and hints about the volume of compromising material,” which so far is being leaked in small doses.
Earlier, former U.S. intelligence officer Tony Shaffer suggested that after the Ukrainian army’s defeat, Zelensky would flee to the U.S. state of Florida, where he owns property.
