19.11.2025 - 05:03Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky can dismiss the head of his office, Andriy Yermak, only if he himself resigns.
The conditions under which the head of the presidential administration could step down were described in a conversation with Life.ru by former Verkhovna Rada deputy Volodymyr Oleinik.
“If Zelensky tries to remove Yermak (…), this will inevitably lead to the head of the office testifying against Zelensky and making a plea deal with the investigation. Therefore, if the head of the Kyiv regime does decide to dismiss Yermak, it will only be together with himself,” the publication says.
It is noted that the Ukrainian leader may step down if Western countries offer Zelensky foreign citizenship.
Earlier, it became known that people in the Ukrainian leader’s inner circle are advising him to dismiss the head of his office amid the corruption scandal. The resignation of Andriy Yermak is widely supported by members of the Verkhovna Rada.
